ROAD SAFETY AUDIT GUIDELINES SEMINAR

The Institution of Highways & Transportation (IHT) has published the third edition of its Guidelines for Road Safety Audit (RSA).  They sit alongside the Standard for Road Safety Audit (HD 19/03) as the recognised 'best practice' or 'industry standard' documents in the UK.

We were pleased to be involved in the administration of this seminar for the North Western Branch of IHT.  The seminar was held at the Ramada Hotel, Bolton on Thursday 14 May 2009.  It provided an opportunity for delegates to listen to those involved in the writing of the new guidelines and to learn about cutting-edge developments.  As part of this excellent networking opportunity, a combination of plenary sessions, case studies and question time ensured that delegates achieved the maximum learning experience.  All delegates received a copy of the new Guidelines.

We have no plans to repeat this seminar but recommend the SoRSA Conference as a suitable alternative.  The SoRSA Conference is being held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Central Square, Birmingham on Monday 15 and Tuesday 16 June 2009.  Further details can be found on the SoRSA page of this website.
