The ADEPT Spring Conference 2019 took place on Thursday 27 June at One Drummond Gate, London.
The meeting offered the opportunity for ADEPT members to collectively sit back and take stock. Place shaping is a long term business; meanwhile potholes still need fixing, bins need emptying and houses need building. Talk was about what the short to longer term future might look like; what will be the strategic priorities; and where ADEPT can add value and make a difference. External speakers presented different perspectives to stimulate debate. The annual general meeting took place at the end of the day, with the new President being sworn in.
Following the conference there was the Annual Dinner and presentation of President’s Awards, held in the magnificent Gladstone Library at One Whitehall Place. Awards were presented in three categories:
